A new StoryMint workspace: everything for your books in one place
One sidebar for everything: start a picture book, coloring book, comic or beta novel, find your books, open the library, and pick up where you left off.
Making a book with a child should feel calm, not busy. So we redesigned the StoryMint app around one idea: everything you need sits in one place, and moving around never makes you start over.
One sidebar for everything
On the left side of the app you'll find:
- Home, where you describe your next idea.
- My books, with the books you've made.
- Library, with books from the StoryMint Library to read.
- Story worlds, where you keep the characters and places of a series.
- Create, with Picture book, Coloring book, Comic and Novel (beta), so the format you want is always close at hand.
Your account, your plan and your settings live in the same sidebar. On a tablet the sidebar folds into a row of icons, and on a phone it becomes tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Switch without losing your place
Each section opens inside the app instead of loading a new page. Start typing an idea, peek at a book in My books, come back to Home, and your idea is still there, word for word.
Coloring books, right next to the others
Coloring book is now a regular format, listed under Create next to picture books, comics and novels. Pick it, describe a theme and choose a line style. Coloring books in StoryMint walks through it.
A calmer look
White pages, thin borders, one green for the buttons that matter, and a typeface made for reading on screens. The most colorful thing on the screen is your book, which is how it should be.
Your book, front and center
When a book is ready, it opens with its pages first. When you want to change something, press Edit this page on a page, or open the Edit with AI tab for a change to the whole book. Review every page before you share has the details.
Same account, same books
Nothing moves: your account, your books and your plan are the same as before. Comics and beta novels still come with paid plans, and every plan, Free included, can start a picture book or a coloring book (the Free plan shows a preview).
